About

About Me And My Blog!
My name is Sidney(but I prefer Ren Song) I am 13 years old and have way too many things that I want to do with my life. One of the many things I like to do is write. So I will write about my story here:
My Grandmother on my moms side(Grammy or Jo) was the one who really got me immersed and interested in the whole crafting and blogging world. She was the one who taught me to knit, supplied me with more beads than I knew what to do with and let me let go of my creative juices. When I was about nine, Grammy found the magical place called Etsy, and being quite the business woman she dove right in. She opened a shop called the urban forager(no longer active) and started selling her refurbished  thrifty finds. I often times would help her with her craft projects and wanted to know just how well her business was going. Grammy's shop never went too far, but she had a lot of fun with it.
Now it was my turn to try the craft business. and after a few local based "lemon aid" style business like "string world" and "the crafty kid" under my belt. I opened the RainbowZbra on Sep 4, 2011. I still haven't gotten many sales, but am well on my way. Around the same time Grammy started a blog called An ordinary voice. She has always loved freelance writing. My mom had wanted me to practice writing more often and suggested that I start a snail mail newsletter for our family. I was not interested but instead I started my first blog: a spy's blog(not active) witch then led to the nance news(not active) and the paper doll club(never a post) and....and... and. till finally I was smart enough to start a blog that I would be interested enough to write on regularly..... and thats this one. THE END
Thank you to all who have supported me.
God bless you all of your days,
Namasté,
Happy blogging!
The Rainbow Zbra
